  Of course, this is an Australian airport, so prices are extraordinarily high. If you've got time, and want to eat properly, leave the terminal and go somewhere else. Hungry Jacks isn't far away, and you at least get what you pay for there.

  The food here is an international embarrassment. As sole option for the hungry traveller, Tribs cafe serves a desolate breakfast selection: pallid slabs of egg on thin triangles of toast with or without pork, packaged sandwiches, pre-made rolls scantily filled, or a 7/11 style sausage roll or pie.

  Trying to weight the dice roll that is a Tribs coffee in my favour, I ask for the long black to be only half-filled with water. The cashier nods, ignores my request, and the cup is filled to the brim. When I reiterate my request, the cashier takes it away and just tips some of the scalding coffee-scented water out.

  Cairns International Airport terminal is the quickest and easiest to check into. Parking is a short stroll from checkin point.

  worst international airport ever. if you are transfer here don't leave domestic terminal just yet as you will get hungry and bored over here.

  Cairns international is the quickest international terminal that i have checked into and gone through security but is also one of the most baron international terminals to go through once past security. So make sure you have eaten before hand and bring stuff to keep you entertained.
